SCICONCARE™ – 5 Year Protection

1. Overview

SCICONCARE™ is an optional eyewear protection plan by Scicon Sports that provides one-time replacement coverage for accidental damage, scratches or impact-related breakage for a period of 5 years from the original purchase date. The plan is available for EUR 30 and can be added during checkout on SCICONSPORTS.COM.

2. Eligibility

  • SCICONCARE™ is available only at the time of purchase on Sciconsports.com.
  • Valid for the following models: Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, Aerobeam Titanium, Aeroshade Kunken, Aeroshade XL, Aeroscope.
  • Covers one replacement per eyewear unit.
  • Each eyewear must be registered with its own SCICONCARE™ plan – coverage is not shared or transferable.
  • Only the original purchaser, with proof of purchase (order confirmation or order number), can make a claim.
  • Coverage is valid for 5 years from the purchase date.

3. What’s Covered

  • Accidental Damage: Crashes, impacts, or falls that cause breakage or deformation.
  • Scratches: Damage to lenses that impairs visibility or performance.

4. What’s Not Covered

  • Loss or theft.
  • Cosmetic damage not affecting performance.
  • Intentional damage or misuse.
  • Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Prescription lenses or optical inserts.

5. How to Make a Claim

  • Contact Scicon Sports Customer Support with your order details.
  • You may be required to return the damaged eyewear for inspection.
  • Customers cover shipping costs (both return and replacement handling).
  • Upon approval, we will send you a new pair of the same model, or a comparable alternative if no longer available.

6. Additional Terms

  • Each SCICONCARE™ plan is valid for one-time replacement only.
  • The replacement product is not eligible for another SCICONCARE™ claim.
  • SCICONCARE™ is non-transferable between products or individuals.
  • If the original eyewear is returned for a refund, the SCICONCARE™ fee is non-refundable.
  • Scicon Sports reserves the right to approve, deny, modify or terminate this program at any time.
  • By selecting SCICONCARE™ at checkout, you agree to these terms.

Scicon Sports offers SCICONCARE™ – insurance for scratches and crashes, providing a one-time replacement within 5 years of purchase. Customers can opt-in for SCICONCARE™ at checkout for a EUR 15 fee, ensuring peace of mind against accidental damage and scratches.

2. Eligibility

  • Available for customers who select SCICONCARE™ at checkout on SCICONSPORTS.COM.
  • Covers one replacement per purchased pair of Scicon Sports eyewear.
  • Each eyewear must have its own SCICONCARE™ plan – coverage is limited to a single pair.
  • Valid for 5 years from the original purchase date.
  • The replacement request must be submitted by the original owner with proof of purchase (order confirmation or order number).
  • SCICONCARE™ is non-transferable and applies only to the eyewear for which it was originally purchased.

3. What’s Covered

  • Accidental Damage: Breakage due to crashes, falls, or impact.
  • Scratches: Lens scratches affecting visibility and performance.

4. What’s Not Covered

  • Lost or stolen eyewear.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance.
  • Intentional damage or misuse.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Optical inserts or prescription lenses.

5. How to Make a Claim

  • Contact Scicon Sports Customer Support with your order details.
  • You may be required to ship back the damaged eyewear for verification before a replacement is processed.
  • The customer is responsible for both return shipping costs (if applicable) and the shipping and handling cost of the replacement item.
  • Once the damaged eyewear is received and verified, Scicon Sports will process the one-time replacement.

6. Additional Terms

  • Scicon Sports reserves the right to approve or deny claims at its discretion.
  • The replacement item will be the same model or a similar model if the original is unavailable.
  • The replacement product is not eligible for another SCICONCARE™ claim.
  • SCICONCARE™ cannot be transferred to another individual or another eyewear product.
  • If the original eyewear is returned for a refund, the SCICONCARE™ fee is non-refundable.
  • SCICONCARE™ does not cover multiple eyewear pairs; each pair must have its own plan.
  • Scicon Sports reserves the right to update or discontinue this offer at any time.
