SHIPPING RATES & POLICIES - MIDDLE EAST 

Sciconsports.com offers Free Shipping on all orders over $150 within the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman and Saudi Arabia. 

For all orders under $150, shipping cost is $10.

Orders are usually delivered in 5-7 business days and up to 10-15 business days for customized items. 

From Sunday to Thursday, orders confirmed before 12:00 p.m. (GST) are handled during the same day. If your order is confirmed on Fridays or public holidays in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is going to be handled on the Saturday or the first working day after. 

Please note that standard shipments can occasionally be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

On this Store we do not ship orders made on this store to addresses outside of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, however there are several other online stores that cover many other countries. To change the country of the store go to the menu of the website or the footer of the website to change the country. 

Shipments to Post Office mailboxes are not possible. Orders to these addresses will be automatically cancelled. 

Shipping for custom orders requires more time. Please allow up to 5 days prior to shipping.

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email specifying what carrier was used along with the corresponding tracking number. Please note that items in your order may ship from multiple locations and can occasionally be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

ORDERS OF CUSTOMIZED ITEMS

Sciconsports.com offers Free Shipping on orders for customised items over $150. Customised items are made to your specification in our Custom Lab in Italy and require slightly longer processing time. Custom items will be shipped from our headquarters in Venice, Italy. Orders for customised items are delivered within 15 business days.

DUTIES AND TAXES

All orders placed on our UAE store are shipped from our central distribution center in Dubai, UAE. Orders with a delivery address outside of the United Arab Emirates may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) which are levied once a delivery reaches your destination country. Any such additional charges must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies and practices vary widely from country to country. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for information.

Please also note that when shipping goods to a country outside of the United Arab Emirates, cross border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In respect of all goods dispatched to you to an address outside of the United Arab Emirates, you are deemed to be the importer of the goods and must therefore comply with all the laws and regulations of the country into which the goods are being delivered.

DELIVERY TRACKING

Once your order has been processed and shipped you will receive a confirmation email with details, confirming the carrier and the tracking number. 

You can track the delivery status of your order at any time through your My Account page on Sciconsports.com 

WHEN YOU GET YOUR PARCEL

We encourage you to check the condition of the package and the goods when delivered. Should you notice that the parcel may have been damaged in transit you can always refuse or reject the delivery. 

SHIPPING SURCHARGES

We work hard to offer Free Shipping on all orders over $150; however, certain large or bulky items such as, but not restricted to, Bike Travel Cases, Bike Travel Bags and Luggage are considered oversize and/or overweight by third party parcel carriers. Therefore we may ask a shipping surcharge to be applied depending on the item size and/or weight. Scicon Sports is not in the business to sell logistics. All surcharges are based solely on extra charges imposed by third party carriers for transporting oversize and/or overweight items.
