We are looking for an International Sales Manager for a crucial role in a company's global expansion and market penetration. Their primary responsibility is to oversee and lead the international sales team, develop international sales strategies, and drive revenue growth in foreign markets. This role requires a deep understanding of international markets, cultural nuances, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors worldwide.

The role

  • Develop and implement international sales strategies to achieve company goals and expand market presence globally.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and trends in international markets.
  • Support on recruiting, training, and managing an international sales team, including setting sales targets, performance evaluation, and motivation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners to foster long-term partnerships and business growth.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and sales plans to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and understand how they can be tailored to meet the needs of various international markets.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, contracts, and terms with international clients and distributors, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export/import requirements in various markets.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and support for international sales activities.
  • Generate and present regular reports on international sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Travel internationally to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and oversee sales operations in different regions.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in business, international business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in international sales, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of international markets and business practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages may be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and export/import procedures.
