1. About This Challenge
The Scicon Sports Community Challenge on Strava is an independent promotional activation organised by Scicon Sports and designed for cycling enthusiasts who want to ride, connect, and share their efforts with the Scicon Sports community.
This challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Strava. The Strava name and platform are referenced solely to identify the platform on which activities are tracked. All challenge administration, prize fulfilment, and participant communication are managed exclusively by Scicon Sports.

3. Challenge Period
The challenge runs from 15 May 2026 to 30 May 2026, inclusive. Only activities uploaded to Strava during this period will be considered valid. Activities recorded before or after these dates will not be eligible, regardless of upload time.
4. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Individuals under 18 may participate only with written consent from a parent or legal guardian, which must be provided upon request. Employees of Scicon Sports and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
5. How to Participate
To enter the challenge, participants must complete all of the following steps during the challenge period:
- Join the Scicon Sports Club on Strava.
- Complete a minimum of 250 km of outdoor road cycling activity, which may be accumulated across multiple rides.
- Upload all qualifying activities to Strava with the title "Ride the Giro with us".
- Mention the Scicon Sports Club in the description of each uploaded activity.
- Include at least one ride photo within the uploaded activities.
Incomplete entries or entries that do not meet all requirements will not be considered.
6. Selection Criteria
At the end of the challenge period, Scicon Sports will identify all eligible participants and select three winners based on a combination of the following criteria: total distance completed, total elevation gained, consistency of activity throughout the challenge period, and quality and originality of shared ride photos.
The evaluation will be conducted internally by the Scicon Sports team. All decisions are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection outcome.
7. Prizes, Winner Notification, and Fulfilment
1st Place: Aeroshade 2.0 sunglasses and Backpack 35L
2nd Place: Aerostorm sunglasses and Scicon Sports Cap
3rd Place: Gallio sunglasses and Scicon Sports T-Shirt
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or alternative products. Scicon Sports reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that a listed item becomes unavailable at the time of fulfilment.
Notification. Winners will be contacted by Scicon Sports via Strava direct message and/or the email address associated with their Strava account within 7 days of the challenge closing date. If a selected winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, Scicon Sports reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative.
Identity verification. Prior to prize fulfilment, winners may be required to confirm their identity and provide a valid delivery address. Failure to provide the requested information within the specified timeframe will result in disqualification.
Shipping and delivery. Prizes will be dispatched within 30 days of winner confirmation. Standard international shipping is included. Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. A tracking number will be provided to each winner upon dispatch.
Public announcement. Scicon Sports reserves the right to announce winners publicly across its digital channels using the winner's Strava profile name. Winners who wish to remain anonymous must notify Scicon Sports in writing at the time of responding to the winner notification.
8. Fair Participation and Integrity
All activities must be genuine and recorded through Strava using a GPS-enabled device. Scicon Sports reserves the right to verify submissions and to disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent uploads, duplicate activities, manipulated GPS data, or any activity that violates Strava's Community Standards or Terms of Service.
Scicon Sports' determination regarding eligibility and fair participation is final.
9. Content and Image Rights
By participating in this challenge, each participant grants Scicon Sports a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share, or feature their submitted ride photos and public Strava activity content across Scicon Sports' digital channels, including but not limited to its website, email communications, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
Participants confirm that they are the sole owners of, or have the necessary rights to, all images and content submitted, and that such content does not infringe the rights of any third party. Credit will be provided wherever reasonably practicable.
10. Privacy and Data
By joining the Scicon Sports Club on Strava and participating in this challenge, participants acknowledge that their public Strava activity data may be accessed by Scicon Sports solely for the purposes of leaderboard tracking and challenge evaluation.
Scicon Sports will process any personal data collected in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
11. Safety and Personal Responsibility
The Scicon Sports Community Challenge on Strava is an individual, self-managed activity. It is not an organised in-person event. Participants choose freely where, when, and how they ride. All participation is undertaken at the participant's sole risk and responsibility, in full compliance with local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Scicon Sports accepts no liability for any injury, accident, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with participation in this challenge. Participants are encouraged at all times to ride safely and in accordance with Strava's own safety guidelines.
12. Modifications and Cancellation
Scicon Sports reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the challenge at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, no compensation will be owed to participants.
13. Governing Law
This challenge is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising in connection with this challenge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
