Check PD - H Parameters.<o:p></o:p>Before installing the lenses, ensure the optical insert is correctly shaped for the specific Scicon Sports Sunglasses model. The Nylor technology allows for customized shaping of the lens for both single-vision and progressive prescriptions. After installation, check the fitting parameters: pupillary distance (PD), optical center height of the lens (H), and make the necessary adjustments, particularly for progressive lenses.<o:p></o:p>Choose Spherical Geometry Lenses.For optimal performance, use prescriptions lenses with spherical geometry. Consider optical designs specifically suited to the frame type for best compatibility and vision quality.<o:p></o:p>Check Horizontal Alignment of Optical Center.Before removing the optical insert from the eyewear and mounting the prescription lenses, check the correct horizontal position of the insert demo lenses so that the optical center aligns perfectly with the pupil of the eye.<o:p></o:p>Refer to User Existing Prescription.For easier adaptation, base the prescription on the user’s everyday eyewear when installing lenses in the optical insert.<o:p></o:p>Consider Vertex Distance.Remember that using an optical insert reduces the vertex distance, which should be taken into consideration when fitting the ophthalmic lenses.Compensate for High Spherical Powers.If the spherical power of the lenses exceeds +/- 3.00 diopters, make adjustments for horizontal prismatic compensation and factor in the reduced vertex distance due to the frame’s high frontal wrap.<o:p></o:p> Adjust for Prismatic Deviation.The Optical Insert has a frontal wrap angle that varies by model of Scicon Sports Eyewear and is typically greater than that of standard frames. This enhancement leads to improved clarity, allowing for a more comfortable viewing experience.
