Love the convenience and experience of packing my bike in this Aerocomfort. I'm using and travelling with the case on a regular basis and generally having good experiences.

Safely transported my road bike from Houston to Seoul

Used it to safely transport my $6k GIANT road bike from Houston to Seoul via San Francisco. It was easy to pack by following the steps in the video. I was also able to fit it into the backseat of a Standard Korean cab, which was critical because maxi taxis and Uber don’t exist there.

Enter the new AeroComfort Road 3.0 TSA from Italian manufacturer Scicon. It comes in at a weight of just 9 kg (19 lbs), more than a kilogram (2.2 lbs) lighter than the previous model; light enough to be checked in as regular baggage, bike included, on most airlines. The wheels are tough enough to withstand the bad intentions of the worst baggage handler.

Inside, the rigid metal Frame Guard system (which bolts directly onto the hardshell plastic bag base) is the key to what makes this bag so easy to use. Easily adjustable for length and height, it holds your bike upright at all times, while protecting it from impacts.

Despite “soft” sides and rough handling at airport - case worked perfectly - no damage...

I added the side of a cardboard box in each wheel arch as was worried about softness of sides of case. Loved not having to dismantle bike other then taking wheels off. I have large bike so had to lower handlebars a little to fit in case. Also bought extra padding to surround the derailleur. Easy to secure bike to case frame and straps support bike well. Lots of space inside to pack extra bike gear. Wheels on bottom of case are great - so easy to move it around. On return flight found bike case on bottom of pile of large boxes with pointy corners jammed into the sides directly over wheel spokes. Was expecting the worst - but the case worked perfectly. Looked closely but no damage at all to bike. Good job Sci Con - great case ...
