After owning and using a heavy hard sided case for two years, the overweight baggage fees got to us and we made the switch to the Aerocomfort 3.0 Road Bike Travel Bag. Being under 50# with the road bike loaded made for a nice and easy flight with this bag. Moving the bag around the airport was easy with the four wheel setup. Packing the bike is a bit more complicated than our previous hard case, but once packed, everything was easier. We purchased the additional protection kit and are glad we did. Having more padding around the bike just makes us feel better. We elected to take the derailleur off when packing. The only more complicated part of the case. Overall, happy with the purchase and the case. We'll have paid for the case in few flights without the loss of overweight baggage fees.

I purchased both the aerocomfort 3.0 and the protection kit and both pieces worked well with instructions clearly laid out on the inside of the bag. I also purchased the Scicon Rear Derailleur Protection Hood (since this was my first travel and wanted a piece of mind) but the Derailleur protection hood does not work well with the travel bag since it blocks the whole rear and you can't mount the bike onto the travel frame. This should be made known so people don't purchase something extra that doesn't work. Overall the bag packs as indicated and I will see how it travels on my first plans.

I was in phone contact with Scicon whom provided excellent assistance. The shipping and delivery from Italy to Denmark was smooth and fast.
