THE EVOLUTION OF FLIGHT WITH THE AEROWING LAMON
Scicon Sports introduces all new radical sports performance shape, in the form of the Aerowing Lamon, a model set to challenge on all fronts .
08 July 2021 - Saint-Pail-Trois-Châteaux, France: Scicon Sports Introduce a new radical sports performance shape with the new Aerowing Lamon Performance Sunglasses. A combination of experience, research, and innovation, developed together with world-class athletes.
This radical new shape features bio-inspired, novelty design elements that increase protection and fit while reducing aerodynamic impact. The wing-like lens design with slitted trailing edges diffuses air to exit smoothly along the side of the lens. Diffusion of the airflow at the edges of the lens also helps to pull more fresh air behind the lens avoiding fogging up. Two air vent ducts provide additional airflow.
Nature demonstrates near-infinite solutions to problem-solving. Handcrafted in Italy and as an industry first the Aerowing Lamon features an ecologically produced, bio-based frame material that is durable, lightweight, strong, and withstands the harshest conditions – all while reducing our carbon footprint. Tested on the road with three UCI WorldTour teams and now on the road to Paris.
AEROWING LAMON BIO-INSPIRED DESIGN ELEMENTS:
INCREASED PROTECTION & FIT: Increase lens surface for better protection while reducing aerodynamic impact with bio-inspired, wing-like lens design with slitted trailing edges that diffuses airflow.
SCN-PP™ TRUE VISION: Available with SCN-PP™ True Vision lens technology that provides optical clarity and enhanced contrast. 8 different lens color options available.
PERFORMANCE: Soft adjustable nose pads increase grip with perspiration to keep the glasses in place and offer an exceptional fit for any shape of a face.
PROTECTION: 100% UV protection lens material.
ECOLOGICALLY PRODUCED: Handcrafted in Italy the Aerowing Lamon features an ecologically produced, bio-based frame material that is durable, lightweight, strong, and withstands the harshest conditions – all while reducing our carbon footprint.
